- Finished 4 yrs of college in 2 1/2 yrs going summers and nights
- Graduate of Philadelphia College of Textile and Science
- Was schooled in family business when at seven I started doing
bank deposits for father's drugstore
- First job worked at Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance as mathematician
in loan department earning $70/week
- Two days after graduating college started work in men's store
developing creating inventory systems and installing bookkeeping
systems
- Organized and coordinated fashion shows for women's groups, churches
and hospitals
- Organized and executed development of modeling school in Germantown
- Lingerie buyer for Gimbels (Philadelphia and surrounding stores,10
total)
- Started career in advertising finances at Grant Marketing in 1978
when a moving neighbor offered me her bookkeeping business
- Owned and operated several kosher bakeries both wholesale and
retail with clients like Bloomingdales and Genuardi's
- Ran construction company overseeing 25 men - that's when I learned
not to take anything from anyone
- That job positioned me to start my own successful management business
in 1985 until 1994 when then client Jeff Cramp had the foresight
to offer me a full time position with the rapidly growing Cramp+Associates
I love my job!
My interests include:
Cats - an admitted fanatic I collect both cats and cats memorabilia
and have considered starting a lobbying group for listing pets as
dependents on income tax returns
Gourmet cook - collect cookbooks. I actually read them cover to cover
and have at least 200 and still counting
Gardening - moved to the country so I could expand my huge container
garden. I have acquired every garden gadget imaginable and now delight
in the experience of buying fresh veggies at the local farm market |
